Sleep Better, Feel Better

In this 3-week series of Awareness Through Movement lessons we will explore where and how you hold tension in your body. Work and the daily grind can create tension and stress that often becomes background noise in our system. We tune out to this noise so we can get through each day. It dulls our ability to know what feels good or easy. It is then hard for us to fall asleep at night or sleep well. Learning to listen to this background noise and sense the differences between tension and a more comfortable state, can shift this towards feeling what’s good for us.

I invite you to spend an hour learning the way you do the things you do. In the words of Moshé Feldenkrais, “When you know what you are doing you can do what you want.” Sleep better and feel better 😊
