Lighten the Load: Free Your Neck and Shoulders

Do your neck and shoulders feel tight, tired, or overworked—especially after babysitting, hours on the computer or carrying the demands of everyday life?

Join me for this 4-week Feldenkrais series designed to relieve tension and restore ease in the neck and shoulders. Each session offers gentle, guided movement sequences that help you rediscover freedom and comfort—not just in your upper body, but throughout your whole self. In Feldenkrais, every part of you is connected: better support from the spine, ribs, pelvis, and even the feet can transform how your neck and shoulders feel and move.

Through this series, you’ll learn to:

✔ Reduce habitual tension in the neck and shoulders

✔ Improve posture, breathing, and awareness

✔ Move with greater ease, coordination, and balance

✔ Feel lighter—physically and emotionally

Open to all, no prior experience needed. Bring your curiosity and wear comfortable clothes.

What is the Feldenkrais Method®?

The Feldenkrais Method® is a mindful movement practice that uses often novel but carefully structured movement sequences to improve how you move, sense, and feel. These unfamiliar patterns stimulate the brain’s ability to learn and adapt, helping you release tension, reduce pain, improve co-ordination and discover new possibilities in everyday movement. Movements are done slowly and with awareness, mostly lying on the floor. Feldenkrais lessons guide you to move with greater ease, awareness, and coordination—so you can do what you want to do with more comfort and confidence.
