JESS GRUNBERG, Clinical Psychologist, YOGA FACILITATOR

As a clinical psychologist, registered yoga teacher and Trauma Centre Trauma-Sensitive Yoga Facilitator (TCTSY-F), Jess creates a safe, empowering and collaborative space for yoga therapy and professional development. 

She facilitates private yoga classes, yoga therapy programs, and training and consultation in relation to the integration of clinical psychology, neuroscience, and mind-body practices. 

She regularly offers:

  • Individual private classes tailored to participants' mental health and wellbeing needs and goals. 

  • Yoga for Trauma Recovery, a 5-week yoga therapy program, helpful for complex trauma and posttraumatic stress, as well as promoting mental health and wellbeing. 

As a clinical psychologist, Jess works in private practice. Her main areas of interest are perinatal mental health, women's health, trauma, and the mental health and well-being of health professionals.

Yoga for Trauma Recovery

5-week program

with Clinical Psychologist, Jess Grunberg

Restore your connection to your body and recover from the impact of trauma

Yoga for Trauma Recovery is an evidence-based intervention for complex trauma and PTSD.

In this program, you can expect to learn about and practice:

  • Embodied choice making to experience agency and empowerment

  • Interoceptive awareness, distress tolerance, and affect regulation in a safe and supportive environment

  • Strategies and a framework for understanding your experience.

As well as trauma, this program can be helpful for anxiety, low mood, and distress as well as promoting mental health and wellbeing. It can also be a useful addition to individual psychotherapy. 

5-week program cost: $375 (Medicare rebate may be available)

Tuesdays: 9.30am - 10.30am (60 minutes x 5)

A Workshop for Health Professionals

Evidence-based knowledge, strategies, and practices for self-care and reflection in a trauma-informed setting.
